Indian Women's Team will face Canada in the ninth to sixteenth placing match. Despite their attackers picking up rebound and taking ferocious efforts on goal, Captain Savita stood like a fortress to keep India's scoreboard pristine.

Cristiano Ronaldo Kicks 110th Goal To Set New World Record
Portugues footballer Cristiano Ronaldo achieved a new milestone on September 1 as he sets the new world record of most international goals. Ronaldo made history while playing a World Cup 'Group A' qualifying match against Ireland and surpassed Iran's Ali Daei who was leading with 109 goals. ''I'm very happy, not only because I beat the record but for the special moments that we had,'' said Ronaldo.
