Global Temperature To Reach 1.5 ºC In Two Decades, Warns IPCC

The Inter-Governmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) warned in its sixth report ''Climate Change 2021: The Physical Science Basis'' the global temperature of the earth will reach 1.5 degrees Celsius in two decades. According to the report, more heatwaves, longer summer seasons, shorter cold seasons, and severe can occur due to global warming. However, reducing global emissions to net-zero by 2040 can curtail such activities.
