Eight Indians have been sentenced to death in Qatar in an alleged espionage case. The verdict of the Qatari government and the judicial system raised alarming concerns in India, as political leaders expressed concerns and demanded the BJP government save them. AAP President and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal urged the GoI to save the eight Indians. The GoI said, "We are deeply shocked by the verdict of death penalty."

Implementation Of 28% GST On Online Gaming From Oct 1
The Government of India announced GST of 28% on Online Gaming. The tax is expected to be implemented, in effect from Oct 1. The GST Council's decision to levy 28% GST on real-money gaming came during a financial meeting, held earlier in August. The new implementation will be reviewed six months after it comes into effect, the Council decided in its meeting.

After Russia, Chinese President Xi Jinping is likely to skip a summit of G20 leaders in India next week. The sources close to the development said, Premier Li Qiang is expected to represent Beijing at the Sept. 9-10 meeting in New Delhi. The developments of Xu Jinping missing the G20 Summit came after the recent release of standard map of China, which includes territory of Arunachal Pradesh in India.

Bihar Govt-Central Govt In Tug Of War Over Caste Survey Row, GoI Files Affidavit In SC
The centre's affidavit in the Supreme Court on the Bihar government's decision to conduct a caste survey, and its correction hours later, has "exposed the BJP" and its "motive to block the survey", the Opposition has alleged. This comes after an affidavit filed yesterday said only the centre can conduct a "census or any action akin to the census". The back-to-back affidavits sparked a massive row, political parties and BJP.

The Government of India took down eight YouTube channels, most of them with 1 million-20 million subscribers, for spreading fake news. Getting into the details, the channels are: 1. Yahan Sach Dekho, 2. Capital TV, 3. KPS News, 4. Sarkari Vlog, 5. Earn Tech India, 6. SPN9 News, 7. Educational Dost and 8. World Best News. Most of them allegedly spread fake news, related to government, parliament, schemes and Aadhar-PAN.

India To Witness Normal Monsoon In 2023: IMD
India will witness normal weather patterns during the monsoon season this year. The Indian Meteorological Department said, "Normal to below-normal rainfall likely over parts of northwest India, west, central and northeast regions during southwest monsoon." EPF Rate Increased To 8.15% In 2023-2024 FY
