Duo Brother Arrested Under Kerala Fashion Jewellery Scams: Chennai

A jewellery store in Chennai that goes by the name Kerala Fashion Jewellery allegedly swindled gold deposits worth Rs. 26 crores, cheating around 1,689 customers between 2016-19. Duo Brother Sujith Cherian and Sunil Cherian applied for bail and argued that it was a false campaign by vested companies that led to the closure of their gold stores. However, the court denied citing the possibility of "tampering of evidence."

Pune Teenager Steals Rs 4.16 Lakh Worth Gold From His Own House To Buy Gaming Gadgets

A 16-year old teenager from Pune has committed an almost "perfect crime" by stealing 160 grams of gold jewellery from his own house. The gold ornaments were sold to jewellers by three of his friends.
