India Wins Historic Gold Medal For Day, Asian Games 2023
India won its first gold medal on the day in Equestrian, with the dressage team securing a historic top-podium finish, beating the likes of China and Hong Kong, China. The quartet of Sudipti Hajela, Divyakriti Singh, Hriday Vipul Chheda, and Anush Agarwalla scored a total of 209.205 to win gold. Earlier in the day, Neha Thakur opened India's medal account on the day with a silver in sailing.

Indian Women's Cricket Team Clinched Their First Gold Medal At Asian Games 2023
The Indian women's cricket team has etched its name in the history books. The Harmanpreet Kaur-led team thumped Sri Lanka by 19 runs in the final to clinch India's first gold medal in the sport at the Asian Games. This is India's second gold medal at the Asian Games 2023. So far, India have won 11 medals. Earlier, India's 10m men's air rifle team earned the side's first gold medal.

Jyothi Yarraji Makes History With 100m Hurdles Gold!
Jyothi Yarraji opened India's gold medal account in the Asian Athletics Championships by winning the women's 100m hurdles race and clinching her maiden top finish in a major international event. Indian paddlers Payas Jain and Yashaswini Ghorpade defeated the Chinese duo of Han Xinyuan and Qin Yuxuan 3-2 in a thrilling finals of Asian Junior and Cadet Championships in Laos. The Indian players scored 11-9, 11-1, 10-12, 7-11, and 11-8, and secured a gold medal for India. Furthermore, this was the first gold medal that the Indian juniors have won in an Asian Championships.
