Government Railways police seized 32kg of gold jewellery worth Rs 16 crores, from Mumbai-Bhubaneshwar Konark express on March 2. The GRP arrested 4 people, carrying the gold worth crores. The police officer added, they were suspicious of four men (Hasmukh Lal Jain, Suresh Sahadev Kharey, Mahesh Bhonsale and Deepak Patel) veiling the train and when checked their bags found gold without valid GST documents. Further investigation underway. 

Ajay Singh, an Indian weightlifter, bagged the gold medal at the ongoing Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships in the men's 81kg category on December 12 in Uzbekistan's Tashkent.
