Neal Mohan Is New CEO Of YouTube
Indian-American Neal Mohan will be the new YouTube CEO, confirmed sources on February 17. The developments came after the current CEO Susan Wojcicki announced to step down from his post, after serving as the Chairman for 25 years. Mohan worked with Wojcicki for 15 years and was YouTube's chief product officer in 2015. Now, Susan will work with Sundar Pichai to take on an advisory role across Google and Alphabet

Ex Employee Of Google Shares Heartfelt Note On LinkedIn
Google also added itself in the list of companies, which conducted a mass layoffs, leaving over 10,000 employees jobless. CEO Sundar Pichai, in a letter to employees, announced the tough decision and accepted ‘full responsibility’ for the same. Of all the layoffs, there was a story was of an engineer, Joel Leitc who gave 16 years of his life and was laid off and shared his view on LinkedIn.

Google Doodle Commemorates 104th Birthday Of Late Indian Physicist & Meteorologist Anna Mani
The 104th birthday of Indian physicist and meteorologist Anna Mani, one of the nation's first female scientists, is being commemorated via a Google Doodle on August 23. Anna Mani's life's work made it possible for India to provide precise weather forecasts. The doodle stated, "She excelled so much in this male-dominated field that by 1953, she became head of the division." She perished in Kerala on August 16, 2001.
