India Will Continue Its Support To Sri Lanka: Gopal Baglay
The Indian Government assured full support to the economic crisis-hit nation, Sri Lanka. On July 21, the High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka Gopal Baglay said, "We'll continue to be supportive of the requirements of the people of Sri Lanka." Furthermore, he highlighted that Sri Lanka is the closest friend of India, and India has rendered a kind of support which has not been given to any other nation.

India Provides Training Aids To Sri Lanka 's Naval Academy Worth Rs 81L
India gave training aids worth Rs 81,00,000 to Sri Lanka's Naval and Maritme Academy, trincomalee on March 14 for capacity building measures. The training equipments included models of heavy-weight torpedo ‘Varunastra’, underwater telephone and model of HMS Trincomalee.
