Age Limit Relaxed By 2 Years For Entry In Govt Services: Nagaland
The Nagaland government on February 28, announced to relax the age restriction by two years, for entry into government services. Karnataka Provides 1% Reservation To Transgender Community
In a historic move, Karnataka becomes the first state in the country to provide 1% reservation to transgenders in general as well as reserve category of all government services. As per the amended Karnataka Civil Service Rule, 1977, everyone must be hired on the grounds of "fairness". The rule also possesses a section named the "others" option in the gender column.

Karnataka To Offer 55 Public Services At Doorstep Under 'Janasevaka'
On the lines of AAP-led Delhi government, Karnataka is planning to provide 55 government services at the citizens' doorsteps. The services under the ‘Janasevaka’ programme includes Aadhaar card, caste and income certificates, health cards and BBMP khatha transfers.
