Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur Takes Oath As AP HC CJ
Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur has been appointed as the Chief Justice of the Andhra Pradesh High Court (HC.) On July 28, Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur took the oath, during an oath-taking ceremony, organized at the Tummalapalli Kalakshetra, Vijayawada. State Governor Justice S. Abdul Nazeer administered oath to Justice Dheeraj Singh Thakur. The event was attended by AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Bar Council officials and judges.

Manipur Violence: CM Biren Singh To Meet State Governor At 3 PM
Amid the rumours of resignation, Manipur CM is scheduled to meet the State Governor on June 30, 3:00 P.M. Notably, the planned meeting came amid the ongoing violence between ethnic groups, resulting in a deadly protest-like situation in Manipur. Manipur CM N Biren Singh will meet Governor Anusuiya Uikey and is expected to hand over his resignation to the Governor. However, an official announcement on the matter is awaited.

Satya Pal Malik Summoned In Bribery Case
Governor Satya Pal Malik has been called for questioning by the CBI on April 28 in connection with his claim that he was offered a Rs 300 crores bribe to clear two files during his stint in J&K. The questioning will pertain to the Reliance Insurance matter, which allegedly involved Ram Madhav, a BJP leader, pressurizing Satya Pal Malik to authorize the scheme during his tenure as Governor of J&K.

AP CM Makes Courtesy Call To New AP Governor
Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy made a courtesy call to the new Governor the AP Abdul Nazeer, on February 23. According to sources, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy extended a warm welcome to the new Governor, who will succeed Biswabhushan Harichandan, former AP Governor. Furthermore, Abdul Nazeer will take the oath on February 24, at Raj Bhavan. The YSRCP Govt made an elaborate arrangement for the ceremony.

Lakshman Prasad Acharya Takes Oath As Governor Of Sikkim
Lakshman Prasad Acharya sworn in as the new Governor of Sikkim, on February 16. The function for the affirmation of the oath of office was held at Raj Bhawan, Gangtok. In addition, Chief Justice of the Sikkim High Court, Justice Biswanath Somadder, administered the oath of office to Lakshman Prasad Acharya. The 68-year-old BJP leader from Uttar Pradesh Acharya succeeds Ganga Prasad as the 17th Governor of Sikkim.

Odisha Cabinet Ministers Take Oath Aiming Reshuffle
In Odisha, a new cabinet of 13 elected ministers took oath on June 5, at 11:45 am, a day after 20 Naveen Patnaik-led Government Cabinet ministers (20) resigned. Congress Leader K Sankaranarayan Passes Away At 89 In Palakkad: Kerala
Senior Congress leader K Sankaranarayan (89) breathed his last at his residence on April 25, in Kerala's Palakkad. Sankaranarayan served as the governor of Maharashtra, Nagaland and Jharkhand. In Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Goa, he held additional charges of governor. He was elected into the Kerala State assembly at least four times, and was also the convener of United Democratic Font (UDF), for 16 years.
