4 Labourers Died In Tragic Lift Collapse Mishap: Greater Noida
In a shocking incident that has come into light from Greater Noida, four labourers lost their lives in a tragic lift collapse mishap. The incident reportedly took place on Friday in an under-construction building of of Amrapali Group in the Bisrakh Kotwali area. The labourers were shifted to a nearby hospital immediately after the tragedy took place. However, they were declared dead at the hospital.

Miscreants Thrashed Dhaba Owner After Denied To Serve Liquor
In a shocking incident on July 16, three miscreants erupted into a fight and thrashed a Dhaba owner, after they were denied liquor. The accused also damaged the Devi Lal's Dhaba property and beaten the owner Devi Lal, who sustained injuries. Massive Fire Breaks Out In 14 Avenue Building Of Greater Noida
In Greater Noida, a massive fire broke out in a 14 venue building. The fire created panic amongst the residents nearby. Furthermore, police officials and fire brigade rushed to the spot to douse the fire. Visuals of the massive fire has emerged which shows at least two floors engulfed in the fire while a thick blacket of smoke enveloped the residential high rise. A case has been registered for investigation.

Illegal Hookah Bar Busted In Greater Noida; 25 Persons Arrested
A hookah bar which was operating out of a mall in Uttar Pradesh’s Greater Noida, was raided by police for serving hookah to customers without obtaining prior permission. The police also arrested 25 persons during the raid. The venue identified Lucifer restaurant and bar was reportedly serving liquor and hookah without permission. Reportedly, several beer bottles, half-filled liquor bottles and 15 hookahs and pipes were recovered.

Greater Noida & Jewar International Airport To Be Connected By 35-Km Metro Route
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has presented the Detailed Project Report to the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority regarding the Noida Metro-Noida International Airport in Jewar. The metro rail route will be 35 kilometers long, with six stops. The project will have 4.18 km of underground track and 31.26 km of elevated track. 455 Persons Penalized In Single Day For Drinking & Driving In Noida: Uttar Pradesh
For the offence of driving vehicle under the influence of alcohol, over 455 persons have been booked on a single day in UP's Noida and Greater Noida, on June 14. Of which, 181 were from Noida, 224 from Central Noida and 50 from Greater Noida. Meanwhile, on June 13, about 155 persons were booked for the offence of driving vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

Car Accident Kills 5 People In Uttar Pradesh's Greater Noida
In a tragic accident, five people, including four from Maharashtra and one from Karnataka die after their SUV hit a dumber truck from the side on May 12. The incident happened on the Yamuna Expressway in Uttar Pradesh's Greater Noida. While five people died, two people received serious injuries and are being treated at a hospital in Greater Noida. The police registered a case and an investigation is underway.

Woman Found Half Burnt In UP's Greater Noida; Son Files Case Against Sister
Birma Devi's (55) body was found half burnt at her residence in Uttar Pradesh's Greater Noida, on April 15. Her son Vipin filed a case against his sister Meenu and brother-in-law Mahaveer, alleging that the duo is behind the murder of his mother. According to the complaint, the duo were pressurising Devi to give RS 15 lakh, which she received as insurance money for the death of her husband.

Supertech Declared Insolvent, Home Buyers Affected
Property developer Supertech Ltd collapsed after the national Company Law Tribunal sent a petition filed by Union Bank of India for non-payment of dues. Sarvodaya Healthcare To Set Up 230-Bed Super-Speciality Hospital: Greater Noida
Sarvodaya Healthcare has announced to set up a Super-speciality Hospital in the Gaur City 2 of Greater Noida (West). The hospital is expected to start its operations by August 2022, and would have 230 beds in its availability.
