Greenman Viral Desai

Social activist Viral Desai, popularly known as "Greenman" paid a unique tribute to CDS General Bipin Rawat, his wife, and 11 others who lost their lives in the Tamil Nadu IAF helicopter crash. On December 11, Desai planted 13 trees in the Urban Forest Shahid Smriti van developed by Hearts at Work Foundation near Udhna railway station, Surat. The RPF Jawans also participated and accorded a salute to the first CDS.
