SC Orders To Stop Booking People Over Medical Complaints On Internet

The Supreme Court on April 30 ordered state governments to stop clamping down on citizens expressing grievances on social media about poor medical services. Citing the grievances as genuine, the court ordered no police action should be taken against the people posting distressing posts regarding scarce oxygen supplies, medicines and beds. It also warned the states' police and DGPs of contempt of court for free speech violation.
