Gujarat Govt To Open Physical Classes 1 To 8 On Nov 22

Gujarat government is set to reopen physical classes for students of classes 1 to 5 in the state from November 22, said Jitu Vaghani, the Education Minister. Parents will have the authority to decide whether to send their children to school, reported ANI. Reportedly, schools cannot force students to attend offline classes. However, offline classes for students of classes 6 to 8 are already open since September 2.

Gujrat High Court Slams State Government On COVID-19 Situation

In a suo motu case hearing at Gujarat HC on April 12, the court disagreed with government’s explanation on handling the COVID-19 situation in the state. However, the reality is different from the government version and people have ‘trust deficit’ issues.
