MoD and IAF Approached Delhi HC to Cancel Streaming of 'Gunjan Saxena'
The Delhi High Court on September 2 declined to put Netflix's streaming of the movie 'Gunjan Saxena' on stay. The Ministry of Defence and the Indian Air Force (IAF) had approached the court to grant a stay on the movie, stating that it had dented the image of the IAF by portraying gender bias. "why the IAF had not approached the court before the movie's release," Justice Ravi Shakdar questioned.

Gunjan Saxena: Retired Wing Commander Criticizes the Film, Says it's Inaccurate
Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl has been facing severe backlash due to an alleged inappropriate portrayal of the Indian Air Force. Retired Wing Commander I.K. Khanna, who was one of the instructors in the first batch of women pilots, considers the film to be inaccurate. Khanna said all women pilots were treated equally and wrote, "No one had to run to their room to change as shown in Gunjan Saxena".

IAF Complains Against Movie 'Gunjan Saxena' for Its "Negative Portrayal"
A complaint has been made to the Censor Board of Film Certification by the Indian Air Force (IAF) against the Dharma Production's movie 'Gunjan Saxena- The Kargil Girl'. The IAF has stated that initially Dharma Production had agreed on showing the originality of the IAF and inspire the young generation, but certain scenes and dialogues have "portrayed the IAF in an undue negative light."
