J&K: All Leaders Of PAGD To Attend PM Modi's 'All-Party' Meeting

PM Narendra Modi has called for an all-party meeting on the erstwhile state on June 24, as confirmed by the Gupkar alliance leaders. “We will talk about everything as there isn’t a fixed agenda for the all-party meeting,” said National Conference (NC) chief Farooq Abdullah after meeting with the alliance. Mehbooba Mufti and the NC previously held meetings and urged their chiefs to take a final call over the issue.

PM Narendra Modi Arranges All-Party Meeting In Jammu & Kashmir

In a step taken towards ending Kashmir's political stagnancy since the removal of Article 370, PM Narendra Modi has called for an all-party meeting on June 24. The union territory's restoration as a state, the assembly elections which is due since 2018 and many such issues will be discussed. The Gupkar Alliance comprising of all major political parties of Jammu and Kashmir have also been called for the meeting.

J&K DDC Poll: BJP Wins 75; Gupkar Declaration Settles With 110 Seats

The Jammu and Kashmir State Election Commission has announced results for 278 out of 280 constituencies in District Development Council elections. In the first elections after the abrogation of Article 370, the BJP has emerged as the single largest party with 75 seats. Besides, the Gupkar Declaration has won 110 seats. While the independent candidates won 50 seats, the Indian National Congress has settled with 26 seats.
