Jammu & Kashmir Security Recovers IED In Bandipora, Vehicular Movement Halted
In Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora region, the security forces launched a search operation and found Improvised Explosive Devices (IED.) The search was launched after the BSF shot down a drone in the Gurdaspur region. In regard to the findings of IED, the Jammu and Kashmir security officials halted vehicular movement on the Bandipora-Sapore road, as a precautionary measure. NIA Launches Search Operation In J&K After Pakistani Drone Shot In Gurdaspur
The National Investigating Agency (NIA) started an investigation and launched a search operation in Jammu and Kashmir. The development came after the BSF personnel shot down a Pakistani drone, near the borderline in Gurdaspur, Punjab. Speaking about the incident, the NIA has so far not made any detentions. Notably, in the past nine months, approximately 191 Pakistani drones were seen in India, of which 8 were shot down.

BSF Shot Down Pakistani Drone In Punjab's Gurdaspur
In Punjab's Gurdaspur, a drone, suspected to be from Pakistan has been shot down by the Border Security Force (BSF.) The security personnel, on October 14, witnessed a drone flying across the Pakistan-Punjab border in the Gurdaspur region. Immediately after the incident, the BSF cordoned off the area and launched a search operation. This is a developing story, details of the matter are awaited.

BSF Troops Fire At Pakistan Drone Near International Border In Punjab
BSF troops stationed near the International Border (IB) in Punjab, opened fire at a drone which possibly belonged to Pakistan. The drone not able to withstand shots, flew back into the territory of Pakistan. The incident occurred at around 5 pm, in the area of BSF’s Rosa Post BOP 89 Bn in Punjab’s Gurdaspur. A search is underway. Reportedly, such occurrences have increased in the past one year.

BSF Reports Pakistani Drone In Punjab's Gurdaspur Region
The Border Security Force (BSF) Battalion 89, sighted a drone near Gurdaspur region of Punjab, on April 7. As per ANI, the Battalion saw the drone around 1:30 pm, and threw light bombs and conducted 16 fires, following which the drone allegedly returned back to Pakistan. In addition, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Prabhakar Joshi reached the site and launched a scrutiny operation.

Punjab Police Recovers Explosives & Grenade Ahead Of R-Day: Gurdaspur
The Punjab Police seizes a grenade launcher with two compatible grenades, 3.79 kg RDX, nine detonators, and two sets of timer devices from Gurdaspur. All that was seized could cover a range of 150 meters and could be detrimental to the VVIP security, reported an official statement. The police have booked four men, after the revelation by Malkeet Singh. The consignment was sent from Pakistan by Sikh Youth Federation.

BSF Kills Pak Intruder Along Indo-Pak Border In Punjab's Gurdaspur
The Border Security Force (BSF) shot dead a Pakistani intruder who was trying to cross the international border in Punjab's Gurdaspur sector on December 21, at 6:45 AM. Reportedly, the BSP personnel also gave him warnings to stop but he continued his attempt. At last, he was killed. According to the BSF, the intruder's identity is yet to be identified.

1 Pakistani National Arrested By BSF From Gurdaspur Border
In the Gurdaspur sector of Punjab, a Pakistani national was arrested by Border Security Forces (BSF) on December 19. He was carrying a mobile and Pakistani currency worth Rs 1,650, as per ANI. The investigation has been launched and the arrested Pakistan citizen is being interrogated, according to BSF. However, more details are yet to come.
