Gyanvapi Mosque Row: Lawyer Representing Mosque Committee Dies Of Cardiac Arrest
Amid the ongoing Gyanvapi mosque row, the lawyer representing the mosque committee has passed away due to cardiac arrest. Advocate Abhaynath Yadav complained of chest pain at around 10:30 pm on July 31, after which he was rushed to a private hospital, where he was declared dead. Yadav is survived by his wife, son and two daughters. Notably, Yadav presented his argument in the Gyanvapi mosque row, last month.

BJP Spokesperson Nupur Sharma Booked For Alleged Objectionable Remarks Against Prophet Mohammad
BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma has been booked for allegedly making an objectionable statement against prophet Mohammed while on a TV debate speaking about the Gyanvapi issue. The complaint has reportedly been filed by an NCP leader. Furthermore, Sharma said that a "highly edited video" of her statement in the debate is taking tolls on social media, due to which, she's receiving rape, death and beheading threats against her and family.

DU Professor Arrested Over FB Post Regarding Gyanvapi Mosque Row
Ratan Lal, an assistant professor at Delhi University (DU), was arrested on May 20, over his Facebook post regarding the ongoing Gyanvapi Mosque row. Lal was arrested on the grounds that his post "promoted enmity" between communal groups, and allegedly aimed at disturbing peace and harmony. Following his arrest, DU's left-wing student groups like AISA and SFI staged protest outside Maurice Nagar police station.

BJP Pushed Country Back To 'Era Of Riots', Says Owaisi: Gyanvapi Mosque Row
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi slammed the BJP led central government and stated that they have taken the country back to 90s, the "era of riots". The statement has come amid the ongoing Gyanvapi Mosque row in Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi. After a Shivling was allegedly found inside the mosque, the court ordered the area to be sealed. Owaisi said that the court order was "wrong".
