Hospital Sources Claim Raju Srivastava Not Responding To Treatments

PM Modi Hits Gym After Laying Foundation Stone for Major Dhyan Chand University

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is doing rounds on social media for trying gym equipment dedicated to Major Dhyan Chand Sports University in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut, on January 2. Earlier, he laid the foundation stone for the university, which will be built at a cost of Rs 700 crore. Besides, he was also seen examining footballs, cricket bats, and chess boards while interacting with their manufacturers.

First Womens' Gym Inaugurated In UP's Baghpat Village

The District Administration of UP's Baghpat village rolled out the first women's dedicated gym on July 24. Reportedly, the demand was raised by the village's girl Priyanka Sharma to the Divisional Commissioner Surendra Singh during a visit. Immediately, Singh approved the idea and over Rs 6 lakh were funded to set up the gym. Besides, the administration has also received six more requests for the same.

K'taka Imposes Fresh Restrictions; Gyms Closed, Theatres To Run At 50%

The Karnataka government on April 2 announced fresh strict restrictions owing to surge in the COVID-19 cases. The government order, in effect till April 20, asked all gyms and swinging pools to be shut. Further, it also provisioned all pubs, clubs and bars to function strictly with a maximum 50% seating capacity. It also advised people to follow COVID-19 protocols while being in departmental stores, malls and public places.
