7-year-old Canadian Gymnast Rory van Ulft Lifts 80 Kg

Canada-based Rory Van Ulft, a 7-year-old girl, has become the social media sensation for probably being the strongest girl in the world. Japan Hosts Its First International Gymnastics Event Ahead Of Tokyo Olympics

A four-nation gymnastics test event was held in Japan on November 8, making it the country's first international event since the outbreak of COVID-19. A total of 30 athletes took part in the event: eight participants each from China, Russia and Japan, and only six from the US. The event had 2,000 fans in attendance with strictly adhering to the COVID-19 protocols including PCR tests every morning and no shouting from the fans.

Maharashtra: Gyms And Fitness Centres Allowed To Reopen With Restrictions

Maharashtra government on October 17 announced that gyms and fitness centres can reopen starting October 25, subject to a strict adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures. Tokyo to Host 32 Athletes For a One-Day International Gymnastics Tournament

The Japan Gymnastics Association (JGA) will host 32 athletes from China, Japan, Russia, and United States on November 8, for a one-day international gymnastics tournament. The Association confirmed that the tournament which is sanctioned by the International Gymnastics Association will be held at Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo. Delhi Government Allows Gyms and Yoga Centres to Operate With Safety Norms

The Delhi government on September 13 granted permission to re-open the gym and yoga centres in the state. However, the announcement mentioned that all the gyms and yoga institutes will have to adhere to the standard operating procedures released by the central government. The State government also allowed the weekly markets to continue operations till September 30.
