BJP Names Pon Radhakrishnan For Kanyakumari LS By-polls
Viewing the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections the Bharatiya Janata Party, on March 6, announced veteran party leader and ex-Union Minister Pon Radhakrishnan's candidature for the Kanyakumari Lok Sabha seat. Congress MP H Vasanthakumar Passes Away due to COVID-19
H Vasanthakumar, Congress Member of Parliament (MP) from Kanyakumari constituency in Tamil Nadu, died of COVID-19 on August 28 in Chennai. He was the co-founder of well-known retail chain Vasanth & Co. in Tamil Nadu. He was admitted to hospital on August 11 with fever, and later was tested COVID-19 positive. He is the first sitting MP to succumb to the coronavirus. Vasanthakumar was seventy years old.… read-more
