Apple recently released some important updates for iPhones to keep them safe from sneaky hackers. These hackers were trying to break into the phone of a person who works for a group in Washington, D.C., that watches over the internet and government activities. These updates fixed two security problems that Apple didn't know about before. We call these problems "zero-day exploits", like a surprise test for your phone's security.

Goa's Flood Monitoring System Falls Victim To Ransomware Attack; Hackers Demand Crypto Payment

Goa's flood monitoring system has fallen victim to ransomware attack. The attackers reportedly demanded to be paid in Crypto currency for the data to be released. According to a complaint filed in cyber cell, the department claimed that all its filed have were encrypted and hence could not be accessed. As a result of hacking, the department has no access to data related to battery voltages, data packets and more.

Twitter Handle Of UP Govt, Punjab Congress Hacked, Restored Later

Early on April 11, the official Twitter handles of the Uttar Pradesh Government and the Punjab Congress were hacked by an unknown. The news came to light after the hackers shared a series of random posts on the feed. However, the two accounts were restored immediately.  In the past few days, unknown hackers are targeting official websites of national agencies like IMD, UGC, and others.

Aligarh Police Twitter Account 'Hacked'; Hacker Retweets Objectionable Tweet

Aligarh Superintendent of Police has confirmed that unidentified miscreants had hacked the Aligarh Police's twitter handle. He further said that the hackers had retweeted a tweet from another handle which included an "objectionable cartoon". Reportedly, an FIR has been filed and the department has also reported the matter to Twitter. Further investigation is underway to trace the hackers.
