Apple recently released some important updates for iPhones to keep them safe from sneaky hackers. These hackers were trying to break into the phone of a person who works for a group in Washington, D.C., that watches over the internet and government activities. These updates fixed two security problems that Apple didn't know about before. We call these problems "zero-day exploits", like a surprise test for your phone's security.

Early on April 11, the official Twitter handles of the Uttar Pradesh Government and the Punjab Congress were hacked by an unknown. The news came to light after the hackers shared a series of random posts on the feed. However, the two accounts were restored immediately.  In the past few days, unknown hackers are targeting official websites of national agencies like IMD, UGC, and others.

CEO of Tesla Elon Musk was targeted by the infamous vigilante hacker group Anonymous. Reportedly, Elon Musk misused his stronghold over the cryptocurrency market especially pertaining to the Bitcoin. Further they claimed that his arrogance is getting out of hand when referring to the time he called himself 'Emperor of Mars'. In the past, Anonymous has wreaked havoc on major groups like PayPal and Scientology.

Indian cyber mercenary group, “APT C-35”, has launched several phishing websites to target pro-Khalistan Sikhs in India, stated a Chinese firm's report. Chinese software company Qihoo360 Technology’s report has claimed that Sikhs, websites and mobile apps having inclinations towards 'Khalistan' sentiments are the prime targets of the group. Cybersecurity company Trend Micro has found a major security threat in the popular file-sharing app SHAREit and has recommended to uninstall it. The company highlighted that the application allows hackers to inject malicious codes into other apps and enables them to access users' information.
