Telangana government will inaugurate "Nethana Beema" initiative on National Handloom Day, August 7, with the goal of providing financial assistance to bereaved families of handloom and power loom weavers in Telangana. Ministry Of Textiles To Feature Kovalam Handloom Village
The 7th National Handloom Day organised by the Ministry of Textiles on August 7, will feature the Kovalam handloom Village. The event will be held via video conferencing where all the weavers from all across India will be invited. Meanwhile, it will experience the presence of Minister of Textile, Piyush Goyal as the chief guest and Minister of State for Textiles, Darshana Jardosh as a guest of honour.
