Maharashtra Hanuman Chalisa Row Couple Files Joint Reply Amid Bail Cancellation
Maharashtra's "Hanuman Chalisa" row couple appeared before a special court in Mumbai, after the state police demanded cancellation of bail. On June 15, MP Navneet Rana, MLA Ravi Rana, booked under sedition charges, filed their joint reply in this regard, saying police had failed to give a "cogent reason" for seeking cancellation of their bail, as they followed bail conditions. Moreover, the matter has been adjourned to June 27.

Maharashtra MLA Couple Arrested Over Hanuman Chalisa Row Gets Bail
The "Hanuman Chalisa" Row MLA couple Navneet Rana and Ravi Rana has been granted bail, on May 4. The Mumbai Court granted them bail on certain conditions that include that the couple will not address the media in the matter and will be available for investigation 24X7. Notably, the couple has been arrested on April 23, for chanting religious-hymn to disturb the law & maintenance and were in judicial custody.

Mumbai Session Court Agrees To Hear Hanuman Chalisa Row MLA Couple's Bail Plea
A Mumbai sessions court is scheduled to review the bail plea filed by BJP MLA Navneet Rana and her husband Ravi Rana. The Hanuman Chalisa Row MLA couple's bail will be heard on April 30 at 2:45 pm. However, the Mumbai police had strongly objected to their bail. Notably, the couple is currently under judicial custody with the Mumbai police, for playing Hanuman Chalisa, outside Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray's residence.

The "Hanuman Chalisa" loudspeaker row intensified after Maharashtra MLA Ravi Rana was arrested.
