Hanuman Jayanti Celebrations: Central Force Deployed In WB

After the Calcutta High Court's order, the Central Police teams were deployed in the regions of West Bengal. On April 6, Hindus are celebrating the occasion of "Hanuman Jayanti". In order to avoid Ram Navami-like violence in the Howrah and another sensitive region of West Bengal, a huge force of state and central police are deployed in the region.  Furthermore, as of now, no communal clashes are reported.

Hanuman Jayanti Procession Organized By Bajrang Dal In Hyderabad

Traffic police deployed and heavy restriction has been imposed in Hyderabad, amid the Hanuman Jayanti procession, organized by Bajrang Dal. On April 6, marking the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, the Dal organized a yatra, which is scheduled from 11:30 AM., and will cover a 12 km yatra, ending at 8;00 pm. Participated by devotees, the yatra will begin from Gowliguda and will conclude at Hanuman Temple at Tadbund.

MHA Issues Guidelines For Hanuman Jayanti Amid Ram Navami Violence

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) issued a statement and guidelines ahead of Hanuman Jayanti, on April 6. After the recent Ram Navami violence in 12 states, especially in West Bengal, the MHA issued an alert to the state governments to make the necessary arrangements, ensuring peace in the states. The notice read, "No Hanuman Jayanti in areas where Section 144 is impose."

Mamata Banerjee Alerts People, Administration Ahead Of Hanuman Jayanti

After the recent Ram Navami violence, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee called for caution ahead of Hanuman Jayanti, on April 6.  Banerjee said, "I am asking my administration as well as the common people to remain alert on April 6. We all respect Bajrangbali, and we do not want any tension or violence in his name." The caution came after recent clashes in Rishra Hoogly, three days after Ram Navami.

Delhi Police Arrests 9 People In Jahangirpuri Violence, Tighten Security

In Delhi's Jahangirpuri region, tight security has been arranged after the recent clash amid the Hanuman Jayanti Processions, on April 16. In this regard, the city police arrested nine people, confirmed DCP North-West Usha Rangnani. DCP said, "9 persons including 8 police personnel and 1 civilian were injured and treated in a hospital. PM Modi To Unveil 108 Ft Hanuman Statue In Gujarat: 4 Dham Project

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to unveil a 108-feet statue of Lord Hanuman, on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, on April 16. The statue will be unveiled in the Ashram of Bapu Keshavnand in Morbi, Gujarat (West), under the four four Dham project, with the first one in Shimla (North). The third statue is reportedly being planned in Rameswaram (South).
