Will Not Spare If Something Happens, Says Lalu Prasad Yadav;s Daughter
Rohini Acharya, the former Bihar chief minister's second daughter, slammed the CBI questioning of Lalu Prasad Yadav in a scam case, On March 7, Acharya said, his father is constantly being harassed and is still in recovery stage, after the recent kidney transplant. Rohini, who gave a kidney to Lalu Prasad warned saying, she won't spare anyone if something happens to his father, after CBI visited Lalu for questioning.

Warangal Medical Student Who Committed Suicide Dies At NIMS
Medical student D Preethi, who committed suicide a few days back, died at NIMS Hospital in Hyderabad. After battling for life for five days, the girl took her last breath on night of February 26. Notably, the first-year PG student took the extreme step after being harassed by a senior SA Saif. The accused has been arrested and an investigation is underway. Meanwhile, last rites are scheduled today.

Zomato Delivery Boy Molests 19-Year-Old In Pune: Maharashtra
In Maharashtra’s Pune, a food delivery person allegedly molesting a girl on September 20. The accused, identified as Raees Shaikh went to deliver food to a 19-year-old girl on September 17. He reportedly asked her for water, and when she handed it over to him, he grabbed her and molested her. He reportedly kissed her twice on the cheek. A case under Sections 354 and 354 A has been filed.

Kerala Journalist Arrested In Allegations Of Harassment By Female Colleague
TP Nandakumar, a journalist was arrested over allegations of harassment and abuse in Kochi, Kerala. On June 17, police confirmed that Nandakumar's female colleague filed a FIR saying, he presuaded her to create a fake video related to a woman minister, but when she refused, he assaulted her. Nandakumar has been charged under Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act and various sections of the IPC.

Former National Cyclist Deborah Herold Reveals Harassment By Coach RK Sharma
Former cycling athlete Deborah Herold alleged her national cycling coach RK Sharma of harassment and violence agianst her. She said, Sharma used to slap her, ridicule and harass her for years during her course of training. The statement of Herold came after a cyclist wrote to the Sports Authority of India (SAI) alleging coach Sharma of behaving inappropriate during her stay in Slovenia, at level that she feared death.

New York Gets First Woman Governor Katheen C. Hochul
Kathleen C. Hochul made history as she becomes the first woman Governor for the people of New York on August 24.
