Harley Davidson Stops Its Production And Sales In India
Harley-Davidson on September 24 announced that it will stop its production and sales in India as a part of its restructuring programme. Reportedly, the decision came after the company sold very few vehicles in the last financial year. About 70 employees are axed from jobs as a result of the decision. The company stated that the reconstruction program was to concentrate more on the US markets.

Harley-Davidson LiveWire Sets World Records for Elapsed Time & Top Speed
Harley-Davidson's LiveWire Motorcycle created world records for elapsed time & top speed during the exhibition runs at the Lucas Oil Raceway. Three-time Pro Stock Motorcycle champion Angelle Sampey piloted the motorcycle. The motorcycle completed the full quarter-mile course in 11.56 seconds and the eight-mile distance in 7.017 seconds with the top speed of 177.599 Km/h.
