Jharkhand CM Affirms Adivasis As Nature Worshippers, Not Hindus

Responding to a question whether Tribals are Hindus, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren stated, "Adivasis were never Hindus and they never will be". "Adivasis are nature worshippers," he added. Moreover, he highlighted his demand for a separate column for Adivasis in the next census to safeguard culture of 32 communities.
