Haryana CM Says Next Time Will Send You With Chandrayan 4, To Woman, Faces Criticism

Haryana CM and BJP leader Manohar Lal Khattar is facing the ire from opposition over his reply to a woman asking for job. In a viral video, the woman is asking the CM to open factories in the village so that they can get employment. ML Khattar arrogantly replied to the woman and said that will send you to the moon in Chandrayaan-4. The video is going viral on internet.

Haryana CM Raises Chandigarh Issue, Moves Resolution

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar moved a resolution in the Haryana State Assembly session on April 5.  The resolution was in regard to the construction of the Sutlej-Yamuna Link Canal.  In the moved resolution, the Haryana CM urged the BJP-led Central Government to ensure the construction of the canal. Furthermore, the resolution came after the Punjab CM moved a resolution, demanding Chandigarh into Punjab.

Religious Offerings In Open Spaces Will Not Be Tolerated: CM Manohar

Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar on December 10, said that offering namaz in public places will not be tolerated. "I have told the police to resolve the issue. There is no problem with people offering namaz at their designated place... The issue will be resolved amicably," he mentioned. However, Gurugram administration withdrew its permission to offer namaz at eight out of 37 sites in November.

Haryana: CBI Court Books Former CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda Under Section 420

A special CBI court framed charges against former Haryana CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda in a plot re-allotment case to Associated Journals Limited (AJL) in Panchkula. Reportedly, Hooda has been charged for an alleged link with the case. The next hearing is scheduled for May 7. The CBI has booked him under Section 420 and 120-B of the IPC and Section 13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act.

Haryana Govt To Launch Anti-Tobacco Drive In Colleges From Jan 26
