Expert Sujeet Singh, Director of the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said, the pandemic may turn to an endemic in the next six months. Endemicity means infection would become more manageable. The new emerging variants like C1.2 and Mu cannot alone bring the third wave. He stressed on vaccinating more people currently, 75 crore Indians are jabbed, and people must follow Covid appropriate behavior.
