Experts Ask People Not To Panic After Death Due To H3N2 Influenza
Health experts asks Indian citizens not to panic, after India reported two deaths due to H3N2 influenza virus. On March 10, Karnataka and Haryana reported deaths of two individuals due to this now spread widely virus. After the recent pandemic due to the Coronavirus. Experts said, there is a need of increased monitoring and precaution, however, no need to panic for citizens with this H3N2 Influenza.

India Reports 10,256 New COVID Cases & 68 Deaths In Last 24 Hours: COVID Update
India reported 10,256 fresh cases of COVID-19 and 68 fatalities in the last 24 hours on August 26. Of the 68 fatalities, 29 were reported from the state of Kerala. A recovery rate of 98.61% has been recorded in the country, taking the total active caseload to 90,707. Meanwhile, India has administered over 210 crore cumulative doses of COVID vaccine, since the beginning of the pandemic.

Monkeypox Virus First Case Detected In Indonesia

Booster Dose Duration For Above 18 Year Old Reduced To 6 Months: Union Health Ministry
Amid the rising Covid-19 cases, the Union Health Ministry has reduced gap for COVID-19 precaution doses to six months. Initially, the booster dose for people above 18-year-old was 9 months after being double vaccinated against Covid-19 infection. Sacked Punjab Minister Vijay Singla Sent For 14-Days Judicial Custody
Former Punjab Health Minister and AAP leader Vijay Singla have been remanded 14-days of judicial custody. On May 27, a Mohali Court granted custody in corruption charges. The judgment came after he was produced before the court for demanding 1% commission for projects in Punjab misusing his position. Notably, Singla was arrested by the anti-corruption branch and was sacked from the cabinet ministry by CM Bhagwant Mann.

First Case Of Monkeypox Discovered In Israel
Israeli officials discovered the first case of monkeypox in a guy returning from overseas. Anyone returning from overseas with a fever and lesions should contact a doctor, as recommended by the Health Ministry. Other possible monkeypox cases are being investigated by medical personnel. The case in Israel is the first in the Middle East. Around 80 cases have been confirmed by the World Health Organization, with another 50 suspected cases.

Delhi Logs 1,354 New COVID-19 Cases In 24 Hrs
After reporting over 1,400 COVID-19 cases on May 4, Delhi reported a dip in the case with 1,354 fresh cases the next day. As per the Delhi Health Ministry, the national capital also registered 1,486 recoveries and one death due to the virus. Although cases decreased, the daily positivity rate for COVID-19 increased to 7.64%. In addition, the City administered 17,81,980 vaccine doses to the people till date.
