Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren's brother and JMM MLA gave a funny reason for his Delhi visit. On September 7, Basant Soren said, "I had run out of undergarments, so I went to Delhi to purchase them. I get them from there." The question on his recent Delhi visit came amid political unrest and crisis in Jharkhand. Moreover, recently Hemant Soren also proved trust-vote. Opposition took a dig at his remark.

Hemant Soren Led Govt Wins Trust Vote In Jharkhand

Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren won the trust vote, and proved his majority during a special assembly session, on September 5. As per sources, the ruling coalition has 49 MLAs in the 81-member assembly, crossing majority mark of 41. The JMM has 30 MLAs, the Congress 18, and Tejashwi Yadav's Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has one. Furthermore, during the trust vote, BJP MLAs walked out, denying allegations of poaching JMM MLAs.

Jharkhand Fixes May 14 To Begin Vaccination Of People Aged 18-44

Ending the two-week long delay, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren announced that the state will begin COVID-19 vaccination of people aged between 18-44 from May 14. The state has ordered 50 lakh doses of vaccines which "will be free of cost for the people as the state will bear the charges," said CM Soren. Jharkhand has over 1.57 crore eligible recipients waiting for the vaccination.

PM Modi Did Only Mann Ki Baat, No "Kaam Ki Baat": Jharkhand CM
