In recent IT raids at Hero MotoCorp premises, officials seized unaccounted cash, documents, and other evidence of bogus purchases. As per IT officials, a farmhouse in Chhattarpur worth Rs 100 crore, accommodation entries amounting to Rs 1000 crore were found. Notably, IT searches were carried out at 40 premises of Hero MotoCorp Chairman Pawan Munjal, from March 23-26. Notably, the raids were carried out amid tax evasion allegations. 

Hero MotoCorp unveiled its new two-wheeler model called 'Vida,' at an event in Dubai. The scooter will be run by fossil-fueled power mobility including electric vehicles. Amid enormous surge of COVID-19 cases in India, two-wheeler giant Hero MotoCorp has announced to temporarily shut down all its manufacturing plants across the country. As per the company, each plant and Global Parts Center will be closed four four days between April 22 and May 1, considering the local scenario. The company added that it will utilize the suspension period for maintenance work at the manufacturing plants.

Hero MotoCorp has announced to increase the prices of its vehicles by up to Rs 1,500 from January 1, 2021. The increase in the price was attributed to the rising input costs. However, Hero has geared upon its Leap-2 umbrella saving program to lessen the burden on buyers and also protect their margins. Earlier, Maruti Suzuki, Ford and Mahindra had announced to increase the prices of their various models in India.
