Placements in B-Schools Recorded to be Highest Since 2012

Data by the All Indian Council of Technical Education reported, around 49% of management graduates were offered job in 2019-20, despite the COVID-19 pandemic. This is the highest number of jobs offered to B-school graduates in a year since 2012. Experts believe this happened as they started recruitment process early this year. However, the report did not include IIMs as they are autonomous and do not fall under AICTE purview.

UGC Releases checklist for Online Distance Learning Courses

US Student Visa Processing to Resume from August 17

The US visa processing is scheduled to resume in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and Hyderabad from August 17, 2020. Thousands of Indian students who have enrolled for colleges in the US have been waiting for the process to begin. The US embassy in Delhi tweeted, "Our consular section is opening to process students and academic exchange visitor visa application on a limited basis".
