As per the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Vehicle owners will have to shell out eight times more fees for the renewal of more than 15-year-old cars, from April 1, 2022. However, the new rules won't be applicable for vehicles registered in Delhi. Notably, renewing the 15-year-old car will cost Rs 5,000 while for two-wheelers, it is Rs 300 and imported cars would be for Rs 40,000. 

In a major update related to the 7th Pay Commission, the central government has decided to increase the risk allowance of defense civilian employees before Holi 2022. In addition, the salary of eligible employees will increase anywhere from Rs 1,000 to 8,000. risk Notably, the allowance is provided to defense civilian employees who are employed in risk-induced duties such as unskilled workers, semi-skilled workers, and so on.

Luxury fashion house Louis Vuitton has announced that the brand will be increasing its prices soon. In addition, the prices would rise due to an increase in manufacturing and transportation costs. While there is no news about the scale of the increase in prices, the hike will be made taking into account everything from production costs to raw materials. Notably, The brand would hike its prices up to 18%.

Amazon is set to increase the prices for its all plan of Prime membership from December 14. After the hike, the annual plan will cost Rs 1,499 instead of Rs 999, and the 3-month plan will come at Rs 459 against Rs 329. The monthly plan will be hiked to Rs 179 from Rs 129. However, the company said the old plan will continue till December 13, at 11:59 PM.  

Showing signs of recovery, several IT Companies including Accenture, Infosys, WIPRO and Tech Mahindra have given a second increment and promotion within a month. Reportedly, the move came after business picked up in the second half of 2021. While the last year’s increment were deferred due to pandemic-led dip in the market, the companies are paying out loud amid intense talent competition ushered by business recovery.
