IIM Kashipur Celebrates ‘Hindi Diwas’, Holds Book Exhibition
IIM Kashipur celebrated the occasion of “Hindi Diwas” with a book exhibition on September 14. Hindi Diwas is celebrated across the country every year, to remember the historic occasion of Hindi. The event had a footfall of 200, including students, staff and research scholars. Moreover, about 200 books were put on display. The event gave a “much-needed exposure to the Hindi literature,” said first year MBA student Akila Kundran.

Amit Shah Shares View On Hindi Language On Hindi Diwas
Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke about the Hindi Language on the Hindi Diwas, and said, "Hindi is the friend of all languages and unites the nation. On September 14, Shah took to Twitter and shared his views regarding the Hindi language, and how PM Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party government is committed to the parallel development of Hindi. He also assured the development all local languages in India.

People Should Become 'Aatmanirbhar' Even With Language: Amit Shah
On the occasion of Hindi Diwas, Home Minister Amit Shah on September 14 requested everyone to take a pledge to use Hindi with their mother tongue to be ''Atmanirbhar even with languages''. Pointing out PM Narendra Modi's reverence towards Hindi, Shah said those days are gone when ''speaking in Hindi was a matter of concern''. ''India's progress is contained in the coordination of mother tongue and official language,'' Shah added.
