IIM Kashipur Celebrates ‘Hindi Diwas’, Holds Book Exhibition

IIM Kashipur celebrated the occasion of “Hindi Diwas” with a book exhibition on September 14. Hindi Diwas is celebrated across the country every year, to remember the historic occasion of Hindi. The event had a footfall of 200, including students, staff and research scholars. Moreover, about 200 books were put on display. The event gave a “much-needed exposure to the Hindi literature,” said first year MBA student Akila Kundran.

Eminent Hindi Poet & Journalist Manglesh Dabral Passes Away At 72

Renowned Hindi poet and journalist Manglesh Dabral has passed away due to post-COVID complications at the age of 72. Manglesh breathed his last on December 9, in AIIMS Delhi, following a heart attack. Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat tweeted, "You will always live among us through your creations. Om Shanti." Dabral, for this contribution to Hindi literature, was awarded the 'Sahitya Akademi Award' in the year 2000.
