No Meat Sale On Ram Navami In Bengaluru
The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) issued a notice, asking all slaughterhouses, meat shops, and other such establishments to remain shut on April 10, marking the Hindu celebration of Ram Navami. The Bengaluru Civic issued a notice regarding the same. Abiding by the orders of the Bengaluru Civic Body, one of the traders said, "We will follow government orders and not conduct business tomorrow. Tomorrow is a holiday".

Comedian Munawar Faruqui Bids Goodbye, Says Hate Won & Artist Lost
Comedian Munawar Faruqui bids goodbye after his 12th show got canceled in the past 2 months, including the latest in Bengaluru. In his Instagram post, on November 28, Munawar wrote, "Nafrat jeet Gayi, artist har Gya (Hate won, artist lost) I'm done. Goodbye. Injustice." Earlier in 2021, Faruqui spent a month in jail, for hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus, insulting God and goddesses, in one of his shows.

20 Arrested, 150 Booked For Destroying Hindu Temple: Pakistan
Following the order of Pakistan's Supreme Court, the country's Punjab province police on August 7 arrested 20 people and booked over 150 persons for destroying a Hindu Temple. “We will make sure that no such incident happens. Besides, the restoration work of the temple has been underway in full speed,” said Punjab’s CM Usman Buzdar. The culprits have been booked under terrorism and other Pakistan Penal Code sections.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on July 10 said that if a Hindu man lies to a Hindu woman, it is Jihad and considered against the law. ''The government will not tolerate any woman being cheated by anyone, whether Hindu or Muslim,'' said Sharma. He also said that most of us, including Christians and Muslims, are also the descendants of Hindus.

Sikhs, Hindus Help Muslim Families To Re-Build Their Mosque In Punjab
In Punjab's Bhoolar village, Hindu and Sikh communities have come together in order to help Muslim families to re-build their only mosque in the area. "The village has seven Gurudwara, two temples & the only mosque, established before the partition and was almost ruined with time," said the village sarpanch Sarpanch Pala Singh. They are very happy that a mosque will be our tenth place of worship, he added.

Himachal-based Hindu Man Buried In Saudi Arabia Over Consulate's Mistake
Himachal Pradesh CM Jai Ram Thakur has vowed to approach the External Affairs Ministry for procuring the remains of a native Hindu man who was wrongly buried in Saudi Arabia.
