Kannada Actor Chetan Kumar Arrested For Objectionable Comments

South Indian actor Chetan Kumar got into trouble for his tweet, claimed to be objectionable against the Hindutva in India. The actor was arrested on March 21, confirmed the Sheshadripuram police, which registered a case against Chetan. Notably, the tweet of Chetan, saying Hindutva is built on lies, hurt the religious sentiments of Hindus, following which a case was filed by a pro-Hindu organisation.

Salman Khurshid Faces Law Suit Following Controversial 'Hindutva Remarks'

A police complaint was filed in Jaipur, against the Former Congress Minister Salman Khurshid over his controversial book 'Sunrise over Ayodhya-Nationhood in our times'. As per reports, the complaint was filed by advocate Bharat Sharma under sections 153 and 295 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). "While reading a newspaper, I got to know that Salman Khurshid, in his book, has compared Hindutva with terrorists", he said in a statement

Will Get Khurshid's Book Banned, Says MP HM Narottam Mishra

Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra said in a statement that he will consult law experts to get Salman Kurshid's book on Ayodhya Verdict banned. Earlier a complaint was registered to the Delhi police alleging Congress leader Salman Khurshid of defaming and comparing Hinduism with terrorism in his book ''Sunrise over Aydohya-- Nationhood in our times''. "Congress wants India to be divided, and hurt people's belief,'' said Mishra.

A group of people from Delhi and the nearby areas has filed an FIR against Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati, accusing him of stirring violence and spreading hate against Muslims, on April 9. This is attributed to a video that went viral in which Narsinghanand made defamatory remarks about Prophet Muhammad. Up until recently, a viral WhatsApp message went around warning people about his intention to incite violence.

Standup Comics Jailed For Hurting Religious Sentiments In Indore

Acting on a complaint by Hindu Rakshak Sanstha, the Indore police have arrested five stand-up comedians while performing at a cafe for New Year's event. Reportedly, they were charged for allegedly insulting Hindu culture and for mocking Home Minister Amit Shah. The comics have been charged under IPC Sections 295-A, 298, 269,188 and 34. Moreover, a video of the complainants manhandling the comics have gone viral on social media
