J&K Security Forces Arrest Hizbul Mujahideen's Terrorist
J&K security forces have arrested Muzamil Shah, a Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) terrorist from Kishtwar district on August 13. Shah had recently joined the group and was arrested during a joint operation by Army, CRPF, and police. The authorities also found one grenade, a magazine, and 30 rounds of an AK-47 rifle from his possession. An FIR was registered and a further probe is underway.

Kashmir: Police Kills Hizbul Mujahideen's Top Operative Saifullah
The Jammu and Kashmir Police on November 1 killed the head of the Hizbul Mujahideen, Dr Saifullah, in an encounter at Srinagar. Terming it a "huge success", Kashmir's Inspector General of Police (IGP) Vijay Kumar further informed that a suspect had also been captured alive during the operation.
