Ranchi's Birsa Munda Airport Receives 'Fake' Bomb Threat: Jharkhand

The Birsa Munda Airport in Jharkhand's Ranchi received a bomb threat from an unknown person on July 28. The security officials upon receiving the threat, conducted a thorough search, and found nothing suspicious. The airport then declared the threat, a "hoax". Notably, Birsa Munda Airport has been ranked high in the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) survey.

Another Bomb Scare In Noida; Cops Clarify Item Found Not An Explosive

Just a day after a bomb hoax call panicked a Noida-based hospital, a yet another bomb scare surfaced in Noida’s sector 63 on January 22 morning. Reportedly, the police received a call of suspicious packet on the road lying in un-owned condition outside a hospital. However, after a thorough rescue operation, the bomb disposal squad discovered that the bomb-like item was "neither an explosive nor a detonator.”

Hoax Call Leads To Bomb Scare In Noida Hospital Owned By BJP MP

An anonymous phone call claiming bomb in the Noida’s Kailash Hospital panicked the hospital authorities. However, it turned out to be fake after which police has launched an investigation to track the miscreant. Reportedly, after receiving the call, the police evacuated the hospital and deployed a bomb-disposal squad. Notably, the hospital-based in Noida Sector 27 is run by the Gautam Buddh Nagar BJP MP Mahesh Sharma.

Tamil Nadu Man Arrested For Making Hoax Call To Bomb Tiruppur Railway Station

Tamil Nadu police have arrested a man for making a hoax call on bombing the Tiruppur Railway Station on December 10. Earlier the local police was informed about the bomb planted at the railway station through ‘108’ state ambulance helpline. Team of 50 policemen along with the Railway Protection Force started investigation but failed to trace any evidence. However, the interrogation is still going on.
