Mob At Pakistan's Punjab Province Attempts To Lynch Man Over Alleged Blasphemy
In Muzaffargarh city (Pakistan's Punjab province), an angry mob attempted to lunch a man over alleged blasphemy. The police rescued the man and transported him to an undisclosed location for his safety, reported Dawn Newspaper. The complaint claimed that the man was seen burning pages of Quran in front of a mosque Alipur Tehsil, near Jamal area. Punjab has seen a rise in mob lynching cases, reported ANI.

Justice RF Nariman-led Supreme Court bench has rejected a plea seeking removal of 26 verses of Quran.
