Delhi Govt Permits Home Delivery Of Liquor, Amends Excise Rules
Holders of the L-13 license in Delhi have been permitted for home delivery of alcohol as the state government on May 31 officially amended its Excise Rules. The government's gazette notification stated that the delivery can be made solely by the license holders that too only for orders made through mobile app or online portal. However, the notification warned that no delivery should be made to hostels, offices and institutions.

C'garh: People Spend Rs 4.32 Cr For Home Delivery Of Liquor On 1st Day
Chhattisgarh clocked in online liquor orders of Rs 4.32 crore till 5pm of May 10, the date from when the state government had allowed the home delivery service during the lockdown. As for the total 29,000 orders placed, each customer spent an average of Rs 1,483. As per the guidelines, each customer is allowed to purchase five litres at a time, with Rs 100 for delivery within 15km, from 9AM-8PM.

Chhattisgarh: Liquor To Be Home Delivered During Lockdown From May 10
Bhupesh Baghel-led Chhattisgarh government on May 9 allowed the online sale of liquor with home delivery option, starting from May 10. The deliveries will be done from 9am-8pm and it intends to curb illegal manufacturing, sale, transportation and possession of liquor during lockdown, said an official.
