Yogi Govt Puts Priyanka Gandhi Under House Arrest: Lakhimpur Violence
In the biggest development in UP, Congress's general secretary Priyanka Gandhi was put under house arrest in Sitapur on the morning of October 4. Reportedly, she was going to meet the family of four farmers who allegedly died after a car of the state Home Minister Ajay Misra's son ran over them in Lakhimpur Kheri. Furthermore, the government has also deployed PAC outside former CM Akhilesh Yadav's house.

Mehbooba Mufti Claims Army Put Her Under House Arrest In J&K
Mehbooba Mufti, the president of the People's Democratic Party claimed that the security forces have barred her from visiting a family and placed her under house arrest in Jammu and Kashmir on September 29. She alleged that the Army even blocked the main gate of her residence on Gupkar road. Reportedly, Mufti wanted to visit a family in the Pulwama's Tral town who was allegedly thrashed by Army personnel.
