Production Starts On Game Of Thrones Prequel 'House Of The Dragon'

The production for HBO's 'House of the Dragon' has begun in the United Kingdom, the company tweeted on April 26. The prequel will focus on the Targaryens, 300 years before Game of Thrones transpired. To be premiered in 2022, HBO is developing 6 Game of Thrones prequel projects, including ‘House of the Dragon.' Co-showrunners Ryan Condal, Miguel Sapochnik and executive producer George R.R. Martin will execute this project.

Paddy Considine Joins the Cast of 'House of the Dragon'

The producers of 'House of the Dragon' have signed British actor, Paddy Considine, for the role of King Viserys Targaryen. Reportedly, 'House of the Dragon' , which is a prequel series to the ‘Games of Thrones’, will narrate the story of House Targaryen and is set 300 years before the happenings of the popular series. This will be Considine's third collaboration with HBO after 'The Outsider' and 'The Third Day'.
