PM Modi To Unveil Swacchh Bharat 2.0 On October 1st
The Union Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry's senior official said on September 24 that PM Modi would launch Swacchh Bharat Mission Urban 2.0 on October 1. The mission will focus on waste and sludge management. In an event, National Real Estate Development Council secretary Durga Mishra said, "This mission will ensure cities become water secure. PM Modi will also launch Jal Jeevan Mission and Amrut 2.0 on October 1.''

Swiggy To Deliver Foods From Street Vendors Through PM SVANIDHI Scheme
The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with online food delivery app, Swiggy, to deliver foods from street vendors under PM SVANIDHI scheme. The initiative will help thousands of vendors to develop their businesses in these trying times of the pandemic while adhering to the physical distancing norms.
