President Droupadi Murmu To Be On 2-Day Visit To Karnataka
President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to be on a two-day visit to the state of Karnataka, where she’ll be attending few programmes. President Murmu is expected to inaugurate the Mysuru Dasara festival at Chamundi Hills, and on the same day, will attend the felicitation function ‘Poura Sanmana’ at Hubli. She is also expected to inaugurate the Indian Institute of Technology in Dharwad.

Passenger Bus Enroute To Bangalore Collides With Lorry; At Least 7 Dead, 26 Injured
In a tragic incident, a passenger bus collided with a lorry in the outskirts of Karnataka's Hubli, leaving at least seven dead and 26 injured, on May 24. Reportedly, the injured are being treated in Hubli's KIMS hospital, and the drivers of both the vehicles died on the spot. Reportedly, the bus was going from Kolhapur to Bangalore, and the driver was attempted to overtake a tractor.

Hubli Stone Pelting Incident: Owaisi Asks AIMIM Workers To Not Indulge In Civil Disputes
AIMIM party chief Asaduddin Owaisi advised his party workers to not indulge in civil disputes, following the arrest of AIMIM corporator Nazir Ahmed Honyal, on April 25. Honyal was arrested in connection with the stone pelting incident in Karnataka's Hubballi. Owaisi also asked his followers to "let law take its course". "We are here to help the people. Don't create problems for the public," said Owaisi to his party workers.
