Child Trafficking Racket Busted In Delhi; Pvt Hospital Owner & 3 Others Arrested
In the national capital, police have arrested a private hospital owner and three women in connection to an alleged child trafficking racket, informed officials on August 30. The main accused has been identified as Dr Sanjay Kumar Malik (40), owner of Sanjay Global hospital in Jahangirpuri. After receiving crucial intel head Constable Pradeep posed as decoy customer. The accused reportedly offered a baby for Rs 1,10,000.

Jharkhand: 4 Girls, 1 Trafficked In Jharkhand Resued By Delhi Police
In Jharkhand, four children and a woman who were allegedly trafficked have been rescued from Delhi, confirmed officials on August 21. Pastor Arrested For Alleged Involvement In Human Trafficking: Kerala
In Kerala's Ernakulam district, Jacob Varghese, a pastor of a Perumbavoor-based charitable trust, has been arrested for alleged involvement in human trafficking of minor girls. Varghese is a pastor of Karunya Charitable trust, and was sent to judicial custody. The arrest has come after a group of 12 minor girls were detained by Railway Protection Force (RPF) officials at Calicut railway station.

Daler Mehndi Arrested In Human Trafficking Charges
Singer Daler Mehndi has been arrested by Punjab police in a human trafficking case. The arrest came after a Patiala court sentenced him to two years of imprisonment in a human trafficking case, on July 14. Notably, Additional District and Sessions Judge HS Grewal dismissed Mehndi's bail appeal, and announced imprisonment. The famous Punjabi Singer has been accused of human trafficking charges, will be taken to Patiala Jail.

Child Trafficking Racket Busted In Delhi; 8 Arrested Including 6 Women, 7.5-Year-Old Rescued
A syndicate of child traffickers was busted by Delhi police which led to the arrest of eight persons including six women. The police also rescued a 7.5-year-old girl during the operation. The operation was initiated after a complaint was filed by the councilor of Delhi Commission for Women (DCW). According to the complaint, a 3-day-old baby was sold, which stirred tensions.

Railway Protection Force Saves 150 Girls, Women From Human Trafficking
During the Railway Protection Force's pan-India Operation "Mahila Suraksha," which took place between May 3 and 31, 150 girls and women were saved from becoming victims of human trafficking. A total of 7000 people were detained for illegally traveling in women's coaches. RPF members risked their lives to rescue ten ladies who had slipped while boarding/deboarding the moving train and were in danger of being run over by the train.

Bangladeshi Woman Rescued After Vizag Police Busts International Human-Trafficking
A Bangladeshi woman (22) was rescued by Visakhapatnam Police, after they busted an international human trafficking case, on May 4. The woman, who came to Kolkata, 12 years ago, was promised an Indian visa and was sent to Visakhapatnam after she was given fake documents. In Visakhapatnam, Beesetti Dhanalakshmi (35), who runs a brothel has been arrested in the case. A case has been registered against Dhanalakshmi under relevant sections.
