France Will Hold Humanitarian Operations And Evacuate People From Afghanistan: Macron
France President Emmanuel Macron said that the country was holding "preliminary discussions" with the Taliban over the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan. France is also working on the evacuation process with Qatar to airlift people stuck at the Kabul airport, the President confirmed. UAE Welcomes Ashraf Ghani, His Family Into Country
Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and his family are seeking shelter in UAE after fleeing Kabul as the Taliban takes over Afghanistan. President Ghani earlier stated that he left Afghanistan to "avoid further bloodshed". Khalsa Aid To Rescue Drought Hit Africa's Gambia; Install Borewells
In a humanitarian aid, an UK based non-profit organisation Khalsa Aid have initiated a project to dig borewells in drought hit Gambia, West Africa to install fresh water pumps. Reportedly, Gambia's 45.3% of water sources are contaminated as it infested with E.coli and 72% of households are exposed to bacteria in their drinking water. Sonu Sood Borrows a Loan of Rs 10 Crore To Help Poor & Needy; Mortgages 8 Property
Actor Sonu Sood raised a loan of Rs 10 crore after he mortgaged his eight Mumbai-based properties for the humanitarian aids. The mortgage was registered on November 24, which includes six flat and two shop, all in Juhu area of Mumbai. Earlier, the UNDP had honoured Sonu with SDG Special Humanitarian Action Award for helping the migrant labourers and needy during the pandemic.
