In a horrific incident, a BMW owner mowed down his car over a scooter rider identified as Bala Chander Yadav. The incident captured in CCTV footage went viral on social media platforms. The Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) created a record, with over five lakh footfall in one day. On July 4, the HMRL issued an official statement and expressed gratitude to the commuters, for using the metros. Among the metro corridors, the Miyapur-LB Nagar corridor has topped with 2.60 lakh people, followed by the Nagole-Rayadurgam corridor with 2.25 lakh people and other stations witnessed 30,000-15,000 people.

In a bizzare incident, a Hyderabad woman found her lost diamond ring worth Rs 30 lakhs, from comode pipeline. Getting into the details, a woman visited a posh clinic in Jubilee hills and forgot her ring. Immediately with the intention of stealing, a staff took the ring, but in fear of getting caught, she flushed the ring. The accused confessed the crime, following which the police recovered the ring.

Telangana minister K T Rama Rao called on Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and sought the transfer of defence land in Hyderabad. In a horrific incident, a three-year-old toddler, identified as Kodli Kavitha, died after being run over by an SUV, driven by one Hari Ramakrishna. The incident, captured on camera, happened in Balaji Arcade Apartment's parking lot, in Hyderabad. The police registered a case after Kodli's mother Kavitha filed a FIR.
